The Paradox of Omnipotence

This is a little something we went over in class and it fascinates me.

*1. If God exists, then He is omnipotent.

*2. If god is omnipotent, then He can do anything.

*3. Either God can create a rock that He can lift, or He cannot

*4. If God can create a rock the he cannot lift, then there is something that He cannot do, namely, lift all things He can create.

*5. If God canot create a rock that He cannot lift, then there is something that He cannot do, namely, create a rock that He cannot lift.

/7. God is not omnipotent. (2,6)

/8. God does not exist. (1,7)
